Today I did my Software Craftsmanship talk at CF Objective, with some great questions from the audience.

I also felt a huge feeling of people wanting to change how they work, to be better code smiths (Not to make it gender tied)

I also did an ad hoc session of TDD with Lego Bricks, with a small group of 10 which also seemed to go down well. I also touched on the Mikado Method on how to refactor applications.

I know that a lot of people may not feel that they can walk into an already running group with newbie questions, so to this end I have created a new Google Group called “CFML Craftsmanship” if you want to become a better CFML developer come join the group and ask any question you like. The only dumb question is the one not asked. We’re all at the same point, and we can help each other become better developers.
