Now I know that the title of this posting isn't very short but for now, as a reminder to me the posting will be :)

If you want all the below tools to work nice together install them in this order:

  1. Eclipse SDK 3.5.2
  2. ColdFusion Builder 1
  3. Mylyn (You maybe able to miss this step if using tasktop, but I was in a rush and couldn't risk it)
  4. TaskTop Pro
  5. Subversive (I prefer subversive over Subclipse as it currently is more complete for what I need)
  6. FusionDebug
  7. MouseFeed (If you want to keep your hands on the Keyboard this will help, every mouse click will tell you the keyboard shortcut)

If you install in this order, you will get one of the main feature I love about Mylyn / Tasktop and thats the Focus on Context button in the navigator when you have a long list of files, which you will have if you're working on a legacy application.

Another thing people may ask is why have FusionDebug as well as the Debuger that comes with CFBuilder and my basic answer is I prefer FusionDebug and I know how it works, it's all about using what you know works sometimes :)

I hope to get round to doing a few ScreenCasts on getting this all working soon.

In addition I'm a big fan of plugins rather then standalones, so you can easily add FlashBuilder 4 to the mix.
I hope this will help someone do a clean install.

I record the process to add Mylyn to CFBuilder standalone if people are interested also. http://bit.ly/auojV6

I hadn't heard of MouseFeed before. Might have to try that one.

@Mike, I need to get all the screencasts in my head out ASAP to make more room for ideas lol. @Brian, Yeah it's another Marc Esher one - helps a lot ;)

I don't know about adding Flash Builder 4 to that setup. I don't think it will work on 3.5.2. During the beta I tried 3.5.1 and I simply couldn't get it to work. Or maybe that was CF Builder beta. Have you tried it out of curiosity?

@Javier I have it installed and it all works, from what I remember the standalone of CFBuilder it now uses 3.5.2 :)
